FI Transfer Service Agreement

Terms and Conditions

Within Online Banking you may Manage External Accounts for the Financial Institution (“FI”) Transfer service (“Service”). This Service allows you to transfer funds between your linked personal deposit accounts at NCFCU and certain deposit accounts at other financial institutions. An inbound transfer moves funds into an account at NCFCU. An outbound transfer moves funds from an account at NCFCU to an account at another financial institution. You will need to link each of your non-NCFCU accounts that you wish to use for this Service.

In this agreement, the words “you” and “your” refer to you as the person or business entity entering into this agreement. The words “you” and “your” also includes any user you authorize to use the Service on your behalf. The words “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to NCFCU.

To qualify for this Service, you must meet eligibility criteria as dictated by us. Criteria include but are not limited to…

  • All users must be over 18 years of age
  • Account must be in good standing
  • Account must have a good mailing address
  • Any account which requires more than one signature for a withdrawal is not eligible for this service

You agree that you will only attempt to link accounts for which you have the authority to transfer funds. All accounts requested to be used as part of this Service will be verified in accordance with NCFCU procedures. The verification process must be completed by you prior to using the Service. You will have 10 attempts after the request to link an account to complete the verification process. Verification instructions are displayed to you during the linking process.

Funds requested to be transferred will be debited/credited to your NCFCU account the business day following the day you initiate the transfer, provided you have met the NCFCUs cutoff time for submitting FI transfers. In the case of a future dated or recurring transfer, these time limits will be the business day following the scheduled date of the transfer. The cutoff time for initiating transfers is 2:45pm Eastern Standard Time (“EST”). Funds requested to be transferred will be debited/credited to the non-NCFCU account according to the receiving FI’s availability and transaction processing schedule.

Request to cancel a transfer of funds must be done by calling 717-774-7706 by 2:45pm the day the transfer is to happen.
