- Contributions can be made up to 70 ½, at which time withdrawals are mandatory
Roth IRA Accounts
Roth IRAs are retirement investment accounts with the following features:
- Contributions are not tax-deductible
- Tax-free earnings
- Qualified withdrawals will not be taxed
- Eligibility to contribute is based on income
- Contributions can be made until any age and distribution is not required

Traditional and Roth IRA Savings Account
- No minimum balance
- Receive dividends at a set APY
Traditional and Roth IRA Certificate Account
- Certificate terms of maturity can be 18, 30, or 60 months
- Minimum deposit of $2,000
- APY is tiered with your NCFCU membership level
Coverdell Educational IRA Accounts
Education IRAs are custodial or trust accounts with the specified purpose of providing funds for qualified education expenses for a child. Contribution rules are as follows:
- Minimum deposit of $500 and maximum of $2,000 for one child per year until a child reaches 18 years of age

Coverdell Educational IRA Savings
- Receive dividends at a set APY
Coverdell Educational IRA Certificate Account
- Certificate terms of maturity can be 18, 30, or 60 months
