Share Draft (Checking) AccountsAn NCFCU checking account is an excellent money management tool. Unlike most financial institutions, our checking account has no per check charges and no monthly service fees. The only charge with a Credit Union checking account is based on the style of checks you order. You earn dividends on an average minimum monthly balance of $1,000. And, monthly statements are provided for convenient account reconciliation. All checks are truncated, which means you don't get
checks with your statement. But, if necessary, copies of checks can be
obtained at a minimal fee.
Overdraft ProtectionOverdraft Protection transfers available funds from your savings account to the checking account when a check arrives for payment and does not have sufficient funds in checking. Overdraft transfers may be used 3 times a month, at no charge. If three transfers have occurred in any month, transfer attempts after that will cause the check(s) to be returned for non-sufficient funds. When checks are returned for non-sufficient funds, a return item fee is charged.
