Electronic Bill Payment (EBP)

EBP is a quick, easy, and convenient way of paying your bills.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does EBP work?

EBP is securely accessible via a button from NCFCU's home banking page. When you're ready, schedule the payments you want to make - recurring payments with the same monthly amount (i.e. mortgage) or different amounts (i.e. credit cards); one-time payments; or anything you want to pay! Payments will be automatically paid each month. After the various bills are set up, simply enter the payment amount and date to send payment from month to month. You can add new bills at any time, view your details, and look at your payment summaries.

How can I sign up?

EBP is available to NCFCU members who have a checking account. To sign up for EBP, you need to contact NCFCU to send you the registration form. It generally takes about two days for your EBP information to be finalized. You'll receive a verification of setup and then you're ready to enjoy the convenience of paying bills online!

How can I be sure payments are made on time?

We request that EBP users schedule bills for payment no less than five business days prior to the bill's due date.Your payment will be sent immediately to ensure it is received on time. You can schedule bills ahead of time (up to one year), making it convenient to consolidate your bill paying activities into fewer monthly sessions. If your selected payment date falls on a weekend or holiday, the payment will be mailed the last business day before the holiday or weekend.

From what account are the EBP funds taken?

Your source for EBP transactions is your checking account. If you do not have sufficient funds to cover bills scheduled for payment, an NSF fee will be charged. The bills will be cancelled and you will need to reschedule them for payment.

Is there a charge?

The first 10 bills monthly are free - every bill after 10 is a small fee for each bill. (Call NCFCU for current fees.) The service fee is automatically deducted from your checking account on the 10th of the following month. EBP service will be cancelled if it is not used over a four month period.
